Workshops, courses, and resources for accessible mathematical learning
The Intrepid Mathematician, or iMathLab, is a mathematics research and education group dedicated to supporting the next generation of mathematicians. We create free, open-access resources for students and early-career researchers, with an emphasis on accessible exposition, collaborative learning, and research-facing mathematics.
This site serves as the central hub for iMathLab initiatives. Here you will find workshop schedules, course and seminar pages, presentation slides, abstracts, and supplementary training materials from both current and past programs.
The Summer Workshop for Intrepid Mathematicians (SWIM) is a series of accessible talks hosted by iMathLab and featuring student speakers and early-career researchers. Each workshop page includes schedules, abstracts, slides, and participant information for current and past offerings.
We also host seminar-style programs and share their accompanying course materials. Below you can find both archived and current offerings.
